SourceKids is a print and digital magazine for parents of children with a disability.
These parents are one of our most valued customer segments, and understanding their values and pain points has given us a sharp understanding of the kinds of messaging they resonate with.
For parents of kids with disability, finding trustworthy support that builds their child’s skills for independence is prioritised far above value for money or ease of use. They essentially want support workers that go beyond providing basic care and actually help their child learn new skills so they can find more independence.
Using all of this research, my SourceKids advertorial centred on a case study Mable did. The story is of Conor and how, thanks to his support worker from Mable, he’s learnt how to cook while also fuel his passion for dancing. Showcasing Mable as a source for engaged and trustworthy support workers helps position us as a go-to for parents.
